Working from home can be a struggle.

With the endless distractions all around, it’s important that you do everything you can to stay focused and on task.

One of the best ways to make sure you get work done is to have a designated office space.

It’s important to remember that an “office space” doesn’t mean that you need a room dedicated solely to freelancing (although that’s ideal), it just means that you need to have a space somewhere within your home dedicated to freelancing.

It could be the corner of a room or even an unused closet. Above all though, if you’re working from home, you need to have a space dedicated for freelancing.

2. Have a designated office space

There’s something about sitting in a chair, at a desk, with your feet on the floor that lets your brain know you’re in “work mode”. Even if you live in a small studio, create your work space in a corner or keep your table clean and ready for your laptop. A space that has a door and doesn’t offer a view of the dirty laundry or dishes is best.
