I thought this was a really great article offering three different options to consider when wondering when or how to reach out to a potential client.
I would add, however, that they may be overthinking it.
In my mind, there’s no “perfect” waiting time to contact a potential client after they reach out to you via contact form or by leaving a message on your phone.
I mean, every single minute you let slip by is another minute one of your competitors (who they probably reached out to as well) could swoop in and take all your business.
Don’t let that happen.
I say, as soon as possible after you see the email or get the phone message, you should respond to them (preferably by phone).
If nothing else, let them know you heard them and you’re excited to look into the project for them.
